Using Hypnosis to Enhance Hypnosis; How Utilization can work for You

Friday, November 28th, 2008

One of the great oversights that I see today in hypnosis and hypnotherapy is the lack of emphasis on utilizing almost every aspect of your client’s behavior and experience to improve their experience. Adaptability is the key here and you will begin to learn what hypnosis is all really about.

Hypnosis at an effective level is a deep communication between the hypnotist and the client. Much more than any normal communication, this “rapport” operates on multiple levels. There are verbal and non-verbal directions, signals and feedback and a multitude of subconscious suggestions. It is often very difficult to explain to the new hypnotist the nature of this communication, since it is done seeminly automatically and intuitively. It takes place on a subconscious level, not only by the client, but the hypnotherapist as well.

Scripts are not magic for the hypnotist. They probably accomplish much more for the confidence of the hypnotist than any effect the words actually have on a client. What I once considered a severe disadvantage, my eyesight is not good, has really become a true advantage as a hypnotherapist for me. I’ve learned the importance of how I say things, as opposed to what I say. I’ve learned to observe my clients thoroughly and use anything they are giving me to help them to achieve their goals. All trance improves trance is what has been said, and it’s certainly true.

So look at you clients, really look and see and hear and feel what they are telling you.

New Chester County Hypnosis Blog OnLine

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

I’m excited about our new blog and have been working to incorporate it into our web services. I hope to have integrated News and RSS along with forums and subscription services. I look forward to having this completed (hopefully!) soon and encourage you to check back often.

Our main mission is to educate about hypnosis, what it is and what it isn’t. Most of our clients usually come to us with some misconceptions and innacurate information. I firmly believe that if more people knew about hypnosis, more would take advantage of it. After all, it’s a part of you.
